Support
Email [email protected] and a person will get back to you. We aim to reply within two business days.
It helps if you include the email address on your account, your device and OS version, and — for anything involving a purchase — the date and what you bought. Please don’t send us your password; we will never ask for it.
Common questions
When is the app coming out?
Nine Town is in development for iOS and Android. Email us and we’ll let you know when it’s available.
How do credits work?
Conversations and generated extras spend credits. New accounts get a starting balance, you get more each day you open the app, and you can buy a credit pack or take out a membership if you need more. The full rules are in the Terms of Use.
How do I cancel my membership?
Memberships are billed by the App Store or Google Play, so you cancel in your store account settings rather than in Nine Town. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep your membership until the period you paid for runs out. See the subscription terms.
I was charged and my credits never arrived.
Purchases are confirmed by the store before we credit the account, which occasionally arrives late. Try “Restore purchases” in the app’s store screen first. If it still hasn’t landed after a few minutes, email us with the date and the product you bought and we’ll fix it.
How do I report a character or a user?
Every published character can be reported from its page in the app, and you can block a creator so their content stops reaching you. We review reports and remove anything that breaches the acceptable use rules, ordinarily within 24 hours. You can also email us directly.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, open Settings and choose to delete your account. See the account deletion page for exactly what gets erased and when.
I entered the wrong date of birth and I’m locked out.
The age declaration is deliberately write-once, so it can’t be changed in the app. Email us and we’ll sort out a genuine mistake.
Something urgent
If you have found content involving a minor, or content that suggests someone is in danger, email [email protected] with “URGENT” in the subject line and we will prioritise it.
Nine Town is not a crisis service. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, please contact your local emergency number or a crisis line in your country.
