Delete your account
You can delete your Nine Town account yourself, at any time. You do not need to ask us, and we do not make you sit through a retention offer.
In the app
- Open Nine Town and go to the Me tab.
- Open Settings.
- Choose Delete account and confirm.
That takes effect immediately — there is no waiting period and no follow-up email to click.
If you have already uninstalled the app
Email [email protected] from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm it is you before we act, and we will not ask for your password. We complete these requests within 30 days, and usually within a few days.
What happens to your data
- Immediately — your sign-in is disabled and every active session is revoked. Neither you nor anyone else can reach your account or its private content again.
- After 30 days — we permanently erase your profile, settings, credit balance and ledger, follows, likes, favourites, blocks, and billing events.
Two things are deliberately kept:
- A minimal record — your email address and the deletion timestamps — so a closed account cannot be re-registered to farm signup bonuses.
- Billing records, for as long as tax and consumer-protection law requires.
Characters you published stay public under their original creator name, and content stored with our AI provider is not yet covered by the automated erasure. If you want that removed too, say so in an email to [email protected] and we will do it by hand. This is explained in full in the Privacy Policy.
Before you go
Deletion is permanent, and unused credits are forfeited. We cannot restore an account or its conversations afterwards, and buying credits again will not bring them back. If your problem is something we could fix, [email protected] is a faster route.
